The Big Stone Lake Area Chamber is a rallying point and an instrument for the promotion of the areas communities and businesses. The Chamber is a forum for new ideas, a non-profit service business that is “member driven”. The Chamber works to expand your market and promote commerce.

The Chamber offers a direct referral to your business from all inquiries for products and services. Members have an opportunity to display their brochures and business cards in our office for visitors and residents. Ask about the Chamber Bucks program to promote shopping at member businesses. Only members can advertise at discount rates in our quarterly newsletter, “Chamber 101”. Members are listed on our website membership directory categorically free. Members can also do tie-in ads in regional publications where the Chamber advertises. Media advertising on national fishing and hunting TV shows, local radio and TV are included in our plan to promote tourism. Tourism is a way to enhance our economy.
The Chamber mails information packets daily to inquirers regarding lodging, things to see and do, relocation information, and work opportunities. Be included in those information, relocation packets.
The Chamber continually updates our website where your business is listed on the World Wide Web for free. We have current events and photos of the area, stories of projects and funtions, a direct link to local government offices and media.
Events such as Annual Sports and Leisure Show, Lake Days, Cornfest, Winter Fest, Downtown Festival, Harvest Fest, Santa Days and much more are an opportunity to help showcase our members businesses. Sponsorship donations allows our members to be listed on brochures, flyers, publications, and in the media. Participation as a volunteer on committees brings increased awareness of members businesses through networking with other business people and citizens.
